Purchasing Manager Jobs in Washington
A Purchasing Manager in the logistics industry is responsible for overseeing and managing the purchasing activities of a company. They should be proficient in materials management and inventory control, and should also have a good understanding of supply chain management. Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) can enhance their credibility in the field. Prior roles that a person might have before becoming a Purchasing Manager include Purchasing Agent, Procurement Specialist, and Supply Chain Analyst.
