Materials Planner Jobs in Indiana

A Materials Planner in the logistics industry is responsible for ensuring the appropriate and timely supply of materials needed in the production process. Important skills for a Materials Planner include excellent analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and a keen understanding of supply chain management. Proficiency in database management and spreadsheet software is also essential. As for certifications, a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification is beneficial. Prior roles that provide relevant experience for a Materials Planner might include Inventory Coordinator, Purchasing Agent, or Supply Chain Analyst.
