Shipping and Receiving/Forklift Operator

Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring an experienced forklift driver to join a busy lumber mill. The right person for this role would have experience operating a 15-25,000 lb forklift, experienced in identifying damaged products, and looking for their next long-term opportunity.

Pay: Earn $21.00 - $25.00 an hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:
-Operating a 15,500-25,000 lb. forklift
-Unloading/loading material from incoming trucks
-Inputting information into LISA (Delivery Slips)
-Coordinating with office staff
-Unloading material from incoming trucks
-Stacking material in assigned area
-Identify damaged products that may have occurred in the transport
-Visually inspect machinery for repairs,
-Train new hires and existing employees (Forklift)
-Comply with company policies
-Help maintain a safe orderly environment
-Assist with other departments as needed
-Contribute to the cleanliness of the facility
