This particular role is responsible for:

Implementing high level strategies that set the focus and control resource allocations for the warehouse. This position leads a cross functional team in the execution and continuous improvement of processes in the following areas: Shipping, Receiving, Material Handling, Value-Add, Lean Initiatives, and Inventory Control. The Operations Manager will optimize operations, control costs, enhance customer satisfaction, and mitigate risks, all of which will contribute to ESP's long-term success.

  • Streamline operations, minimize bottlenecks, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Work in partnership with the Customer Excellence and Supply Chain Teams so that strategies are aligned and customized to our customers' expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and disruptions in our warehouse operations.
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing measures to mitigate risks such as damage or accidents within the warehouse.
  • Leverage technology and data to enhance our warehouse operations.
  • Report Daily on: line efficiencies, OTD and CAPA's. Identifying gaps in the metrics and improving performance.
  • Maintain a clean and well organized facility. This includes office areas, shared spaces and overall building structures.
  • Build and Maintain a well functioning team

We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you'll be accountable to hit the following numbers each week:

  • Warehouse OTD = >98%
  • Line Efficiency = 16/Line
  • Inventory Discrepancies = 3 Average
  • CAPA = Reduce CAPA

Expectations or Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management from an accredited College or University and five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen training
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Familiarity with pressure situations and how to handle them in a professional business manner also required.
  • Tech Skills:
  • Advanced computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Suite and Database systems.
