The center Senior Logistics Analyst, under the direction of the local center Logistics Manager, will assist in overseeing and supporting the local center NASA End-user Services & Technologies (NEST) logistics team in support of the overall NEST Enterprise Logistics management plan and direction. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring, under the direction of the Logistic Manager, the timely and accurate management of IT equipment and approved Enterprise initiatives that directly supports computer logistical operations within the NEST program. Examples of such equipment will include laptops, desktops, peripherals, and all other IT equipment that is orderable on the approved NASA catalog. The timeliness and accuracy referred to in this description is key to successful execution of this position and necessary for continued employment. This requisition will be used to hire Senior Logistics Analyst for all NASA centers as deemed necessary. This position will require the ability to unpack, pick up, and carry packages and materials up to 40lbs.
The candidate must possess a strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and provide effective communication supported by a philosophy of continuous improvement and adherence to standardized work processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Must review and ensure inventory accuracy daily to include:
o Ensure the timely and accurate transactional updates in Costpoint and controlling variances in the inventory system of record, etc within the prescribed timeframes of the program
o Ensures that ServiceNow RITM are properly handled by logistics staff throughout the process
Work with the local center Logistics Manager, the Enterprise Logistics Manager, or whoever program management prescribes, to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained and/or reported in a timely manner.
Work directly with the local center Logistics Manager to ensure compliance with prescribed contract Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Provide on-going monitoring of material distribution and stock levels to ensure the safe and efficient flow of devices, orders, and peripheral assets to meet SLA requirements.
Must ensure Enterprise initiatives, current and future, are supported and executed at the local center
Responsibilities will include training, coaching, mentoring of the Logistics Teams ticket handling under the direction of the Logistics Manager.
Performing manual warehouse and order pulling tasks to insure compliance with SLA requirements when needed.
Oversee and maintain the preparation, or delegation of package shipments via FedEx, UPS, USPS, and any other carriers insuring proper packaging and insurance requirements are met
Oversee and maintain the Quality control of system documentation packing slips, invoices, material costs and transactions and Goods Receipt processes.
Cycle Count responsibilities to include Cycle Count and Inventory event creation, Reconciliation of transactions, overseeing counting activities
PDA Management in the inventory and in Costpoint
Coordinate with SACM team regarding training and re-training of ticket handling errors of logistics staff.
Act as shift supervisor/acting manager in the event the Logistics Manager is not present, on PTO or available in the department responsibility for staff activity, SLA management and productivity.
Working directly with Senior Logistics Manager to keep the department workflows as streamlined as possible.
Qualifications:
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust clearance
Requires either a bachelors degree with 1-3 years of relevant logistics or analyst experience, a masters degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or logistics experience equivalent to 3 years of direct demonstrated progressive experience in Supply Chain/Logistics or Analytics to meet the requirements of the position
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work requirements
Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead high performing teams
ServiceNow and CostPoint experience is preferred, ERP system experience is a must.
High Attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently with accuracy and meet demanding timelines.
Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 40lbs

Pay Range: Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
