The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Logistics Manager to work at Robins AFB, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Air Force mission. In this mission we provide engineering, IT, cyber, architecture, software and logistics expertise along with Information Assurance Services to customers CONUS and OCONUS in support of network and information security systems for multiple closed user groups and are developing and building a subsea and terrestrial network system for a critical AF system. Our program entails maintaining and enhancing the information systems and networks and performing system enhancements, software installation, integration, testing, and deployment services.
Primary Responsibilities:
You will provide logistics support to the program and a secure communications and data transfer network that consists of a series of secure networks that are already fielded and in sustainment. You will also be responsible for providing logistics expertise for new installs and tech refreshes that require engineering and architecture design, integration and install, test, and deploy to operations. You will be planning, controlling, and optimizing our hardware and software, planning and managing the tracking and control of all our equipment, working with our configuration management team to ensure baselines are maintained, and performing inventory audits at CONUS and OCONUS sites as required. You will be responsible for logistics and transportation planning and execution for international shipment of goods to locations that require knowledge of international export control laws. You will be the primary interface with our customers warehouse for the storage, accountability, and shipment of equipment to various locations. You will assist with the development and execution of our Lifecycle Management Plan for the multiple systems we are developing and/or maintaining and generating documentation and training.
Basic Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in logistics management or any bachelors degree of art or science and 8+ years of prior relevant experience, or 15 years of experience without a degree.
Implementing and managing systems to optimize the flow of resources through the supply chain
Knowledge of the DODIN APL process and procurement policies and directives
Experience tracking, receiving, processing, and delivering customer orders through the AF supply chain
A strong working knowledge of international export and transportation laws
Experience with shipping methods both on land and sea
Experience with logistics support for personnel in remote, unmanned locations
Experience with maintaining records for end of service, end of warranty, end of maintenance
Experience with the storage, handling, and distribution of equipment within a warehouse facility
Experience with controlling the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials to support production and operations at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Experience with contracting for shipments and delivery to remote locations
Must be a US Citizen and actively possess a Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of ALMSS, LOGUG and the Special Projects CUGs
Previous experience working with Eracent
Experience with AF Special programs
Experience with AF logistics processes and policies
Experience with Operational Air Force or Space Force systems
Prior experience as an AF logistician
Experience with the AFLCMC B350 warehouse at Robins AFB
Masters Degree in Logistics Management
Currently hold a Top Secret SCI clearance
