The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials while maintaining strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Schedule: M-F 1st shift

Pay: 60K-73K DOE

Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide an on-floor presence for the Shipping and Receiving team.

• Set priorities, assign work, and monitor workflow efficiency.

• Train and mentor employees, ensuring adherence to GMP protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

• Conduct performance evaluations

• Provide forklift training and all other applicable certifications.

• Verify shipments for accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.

• Oversee preparation of shipments, including documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, customs clearance forms, and hazardous material shipping labels.

• Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper documentation and data entry into ERP systems.

• Maintain records and documentation per GMP requirements, ensuring accuracy and traceability.

• Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase productivity while maintaining GMP standards.

• Work closely with production, customer service, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of shipments.

Education & Experience:

• Associate or bachelors degree preferred.

• 5 years of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations.

• GMP manufacturing

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience
