Job Description

  • Supervise and motivate a team of production workers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to achieve production goals.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance issues.
  • Train new employees on manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Develop and execute production schedules to meet deadlines and customer demand.
  • Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, conducting regular quality checks and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
  • Monitor the condition of production equipment and schedule preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians to resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Enforce all safety regulations and procedures on the production floor to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Investigate safety incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and other departments
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software (if applicable)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $68,000-$85,000.
