Sayre Enterprises offers 2 first shift options: 4- 10 hour days, Monday - Thursday, 6AM-4:30PM OR

5- 8 hour days, Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM.

Job Title: Packager

Department: Packaging Department

Reports To: Packaging Department Manager

Summary: Packager is responsible for packaging various items manufactured and sold.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs duties including, but not limited to, general carding, packaging, material labeling, counting, and sorting product into bins, and inspection of product to identify any defect 

• Ideal candidate will be able to perform repetitive tasks and be able to sit or stand and use hands for entire shift

• Must have positive attitude and be self-motivated 

• Ability to work independently with little supervision and communicate well with manager and team leaders

• Ability to maintain department production demand numbers

• Pay attention to the quality of both the starting product and the finished product

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Physical Demands and Work Environment:  

• Continually required to stand, sit, and walk (8-10 hours per day and 2-4 hours overtime as needed

• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

• Continually required to talk and hear and visually see 

• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

• Must be able to move, push and lift up to 40lbs.
